We work with a small number of schools that want to pilot adaptive practice - and are willing to tell us the truth about what works.
GuruMode is a parent-first product. We are open to school pilots on terms that protect the child first, the school second, and the contract last.
We are not the right product for every school. Here is who we are right for.
You are a good fit if…
- You teach CBSE Maths in Grades 5 to 9 - that is what we are live on today. Other boards and other subjects are coming, but we will not pretend they are ready when they are not.
- Your academic leadership wants children to understand Maths, not just complete worksheets, and is willing to give us six to twelve weeks of honest classroom use.
- You have at least one teacher in the relevant grades who will be our partner - someone who will tell us when a concept lands, when it doesn't, and when our pacing is wrong.
- You are okay with us not making claims about marks or exam ranks during the pilot. We promise better understanding, measured by the child's ability to reason through unfamiliar problems.
We are not the right partner if…
- You are looking for a tool that hands the child the answer faster.
- You want a content library disguised as a learning app.
- You need a vendor who will sign an MoU before letting your teachers use the product with real students.
- You expect the product to replace your teachers. It is not built for that and never will be.
Six to twelve weeks. One grade. Honest measurement.
No deck. No demo theatre. The first conversation tells both of us whether it's worth taking the next step.
Conversation
One honest call. Sixty minutes.
A call with your academic head and at least one Maths teacher. We ask about your students, your current pain points, and what success would look like for you. You ask us anything. No deck, no pitch. If we are not the right fit, we will say so on this call.
Setup
One section, one grade, real students.
We onboard one section of one grade. Parents receive a plain-language consent note. Teachers get a thirty-minute orientation. No data leaves the school's chosen environment without explicit consent.
Use
One Maths topic per week.
Children use GuruMode for one topic per week, either in a lab period or as homework practice. Your teacher continues to teach normally. We are an addition, not a replacement.
Check-in
Fifteen minutes with the teacher.
What landed. What didn't. What the children said. What we should change for next week. The teacher's voice, not the vendor's.
Readout
Three honest questions.
Did the children's reasoning improve on unseen problems? Did the teachers find the tool useful or annoying? Did the parents see a change in attitude toward Maths at home? We share the data. You decide whether to continue.
more than we want a contract.
Stated refusals before stated promises.
Most ed-tech vendors tell schools what they will do. Here is what we will not do - published, not buried in a contract.
Honest, before you ask.
We are early. Pilots are run at minimal cost - typically a small per-student fee that covers infrastructure and support, not margin. We do not publish school pricing on this website yet because the right number depends on your grade, your section size, and how long you want to run.
We will quote you a price after the Week 0 call, in writing, with no hidden line items. If the number doesn't work for your school, tell us - we would rather have you in the pilot at a number that works than not in the pilot at all.
Send a short email. These six lines are enough.
Email support.gurumode@gmail.com, subject line School pilot - [your school name], and tell us:
The questions principals actually ask.
No deck. No demo theatre.
One honest email starts a real conversation.
We read every one. We respond inside three working days.
